They tend to be much easier to assemble compared to a traditional bed frame due to having fewer components for construction. Platform beds can be sold in various materials, such as wood, upholstered fabric, metal, and even leather.
The platform bed is my favorite style of bed. I first discovered platform beds when I came across a post about the famous RH Cloud Bed, and I fell in love! But it was way out of my budget, so I went on a hunt to find similar ones for less. I found this bed, which I’ve now had for a little over a year, and I’m still just as obsessed with it as I was on day 1! It’s great quality. It looks very similar to the RH Cloud Bed. And it’s a FRACTION of the cost.
