As a woman, I truly believe you can never have too many sneakers in your closet. I have always been a big sneaker girl for as long as I can remember. Old Skool Vans and Adidas Stan Smiths were of my favorite sneakers to rock in grade school.
And now that I’m an adult, my love for sneakers has only grown more. I love following all the newest sneaker trends I see on social media, but there’s nothing better than finding a true hidden gem that fits your unique style perfectly. So in this post, I’m sharing the most popular sneakers out right now while also adding in some unique ones you might have never seen before.

My very first pair of Adidas women’s sneakers were the Adidas Superstars back in high school. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a pair, and once I did, I wore those babies into the ground. Now New Balance hasn’t always been recognized as one of the hottest shoe brands, competing with the world’s greats, Nike and Adidas. But in the last few decades, New Balance has become quite an icon in the sneaker industry.
New Balance seems to have really hit the lime light with their re-release of the trendy New Balance 550s. These are the very first pair of New Balances I ever purchased, and it’s been a slippery slope of buying more and more New Balances ever since. The 550s are cute but comfortable, and I surprisingly prefer to wear them with a more ‘elevated’ outfit, as opposed to a casual one.
My second pair of New Balances that are now my favorite trendy sneaker that I own are the New Balance 2002r - Protection Pack in ‘Rain Cloud’. The are unbelievably comfortable and so cute to pair with an all-black athleisure outfit.
